At least one XLR owner has put fake gold trim on his car, and another participant thought it looked good! had hoped that on this car, at least, owners and dealers would skip this stuff. What's next? Opera lamps? Vinyl roof coverings? Continental kit for the back? Skirts? Spinners? Whitewalls? Do you ever see gold trim on a Porsche, Mercedes, BMW? So much for changing Cadillac's image.
