This has probably been brought up before, but...does anyone know of luggage the will fit the space left when the top is down? I'm thinking a couple of soft, gym-type bags, tailored to the opening would be handy for touring on those warm days on nice roads.
Thanks guys;)

A soft golf bag if you take the driver out and put it on top of the bag fits just fine. Luggage................that's a laugher. A pair of tidy whites, and a bra and panties & don't put cosmetics or things that can melt in the trunk.

Here'a a post we made this past November in response to a similar question:

Admittedly, there’s not much space in the trunk with the top down, but it is surprising just how much can be carried there with the right type luggage. For example two of these Tumi bags, which hold quite a lot, fit very nicely: Tumi bags for XLR

Best regards,

XLR luggage and wind screen

Have a company building custom fitted hard side luggage in carbon or painted to match car. Will be trimmed with billet aluminum and very sweet looking. Also will have a wind screen to fit between head rest to stop wind from blowing back in from back. Anybody interested let me know!
