Greetings -
Bought our black XLR last August, now have 3500 miles.(Didn't run it most of the winter,we were in Florida) So far, no mechanical problems.
Love the style, most distinctive car on the road. Wish it had a little more interior space, no where to put anything with 2 people onboard.:mad
My wife loves to drive it, says the size puts her at ease.
We cross-shopped against Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar, chose the XLR for it's looks and(my call)performance.:)
I wish Cadillac would do a little PR work with their customers - maybe regional owner meets, a magazine, promotions to make you feel a little special. This IS a high-end car, and keeping the customer happy should be a priority.
Glad I found this site, keep the posts coming.

Welcome :party

I agree with your comment on Cadillac doing some regional events, even a smart dealer could do something. Great way to build loyalty and get prospective owners around satsified customers. We just had an XLR meet in New Mexico in June and it was a great time. Heading over to LA next weekend for a SoCal meet as well.

Only problem I've had with mine was self induced. Found out driving even a short distance with the door ajar tends to through the power window indexing off. Easy fix though thanks to Bob's head up on how to correct yourself.

If I get out of the house on time I may just do that. What time are you folks meeting at the shopping center? If I'm running late I'll just see you at the meet.
