Gentleman, I am new to your forum, from what I've seen and read it seems pretty interesting. In december I purchased a 06 xlr, for my wife's x-mas present (really mine).3-30-06 was the first time driving the car, everything I read in this forum was true-mostly the good things!!! I was reading about the exhaust systems somewhere in the forum, now I cant find where it was? Can anyone help me make a wise choice? And does it void the warrenty? thanks guys hope to here from someone..

Go to "members list" and choose harrysxlr and look through his post. He has the most post concerning changing the exhaust system, like Borla or Corsica. BTW, it doesn't hurt the warranty.

Harry is from Germany and had his Corsica shipped with no problems and he loves the sound and gave him a few more horses. He runs the autobahn and usually runs at 189 or 179 MPH, I forget which.

George,

The Corsa is the only one that will be readily available and a bolt on project. The Borla will be a custom fit from a Vette system and although I'm sure Lund will hsip to your area the installation will also be a bit of a custom fit.

here is a picture of the Lund installed. If you want some pictures of the underside I will be happy to email them to you. BTW Welcome! :party

I believe Ebay had it for $1,369.00. That is a better price than I got from the owners son which was $1,450.00 including shipping. Unless shipping is $80.00 that price was high. How can a dealer on eBay sell it for less than the factory?
Hi Bill,
$ 1.450 + $ 129.14 for shipping what I paid for. I`ve got mine over the son from Corsa-Performance, Jim Browning Jr.

Hi George,
the installation of my Corsa took a little over 1 hour. The parts all fitted perfect and the sound and the look of this 4 big stainless-steel outlets is fantastic.

We had a real cold winter here in Germany but I observed myself very often by opening my driver-side window about 1 inch to hear this wonderful sound when pressing the pedal down.

It sure gets louder than a stock XLR but it`s a real strong powerfull sound.

Hey First Caddy,
If your concerned about spelling, here is a sight you download for free and it goes in your "TOOLS" box. Now you can check your spelling on a sight such as this before you post...........I couldn't live without it.
