Ok hi again so i brought my car into service for the front fender as i posted it before and they had it for a week and they drive back and forth to the special body shop they but about 5-6 miles on the car. Fine i go today to start my car and it says i have low tire pressure so i look and it looks fine but i saw a piece of wood not even a 1"inch wide and that was not there before. So i brought it back and they stor short i had to buy a new tire for $375 and i was watching them put it on and the piece of wood bearly punksured the inside of the tire and of course it had to be on the sidewall..... So i called the headquarters of the tires and told them what happend and they are paying for the tire thank god so annoying and also the black weather strip is fading does anyone else have any problems i have tons of them so ANNOYING :banghead

During one of my service visits for a top malfunction the technician noticed a small chunk of tread missing from one of my rear tires. I was never notified until after the fact, they replaced the tire under warranty and simply listed it on the work order. Your dealer should have replaced the tire under warranty, that's the up-side of the tires GM chose for the XLR. I can't comment on the fading weather strip excdept to say that I never noticed any problems with the rubber pieces on my car.
