While the only big complaint was my hot console...............Things have changed dramatically.

Rear leaking, getting O rings as we speak
DIC consistently reads out service stabilitrak when I get aggressive
Front right Foos rim is crusting on the inner rim causing a air leak. They ordered a new rim, no charge
Alignment keeps going out and car pulls hard to the left. My left arm is sore from pushing up on the wheel
Tire sensors have gone wacko and not reading in the DIC. Magnet trick would not work.
Every time I try to put the top up or down, the DIC reads out, Gate in trunk is not closed and I have to get out to open it and then close it.
Otherwise everything is just peachy Keen.
I love gadgets, but I think the gadgets are not loving me. As long as it isn't costing me anything but my time, I guess it's OK. Allen Cadillac is standing on their heads to make everything right.

The divider sensor in the trunk is a pain in the ass. I disconnected the sensor and soldered the two wires together. Problem solved.

Wow lots of concerns! I have had almost nothing, only a drivers seat track that was replaced due to rocking, minor, that's it. Of course since I have more than one car I put more miles on my DTS and the XLR has only put 3,000 miles on it this year. Maybe that's the difference. Do you drive it every day????

Stay tuned for more on this subject. I showed them yoiur post and they took a deeper look into the problem and tightened up those latches so it snapes in hard. Will let you know if it works.

They did a great job on everything. A change in advisors helped greatly. I have the owners cousin as an advisor now, and really feel good about the way he handles everything. Two updates each day during the two days they had the car, lots of communication when I picked up the car. WOW. What a difference an advisor makes.

What you mean is SOMEBODY WHO REALLY CARES!!!! With all of GM's financial woe's it would seem that they would be absolutely sure that their XLR owners are real happy.

After all many of us will be ready to see what the new models look like real soon. Right Sandby???

Hi Bob, treated good or bad is not the question, if I had this many trouble with my XLR I might would not buy another one. Sure that they treat you good right now is OK, but if you got a trouble-free car you don`t need anything else. Am I right?

I made this week my 20.000 km (12.500 miles) on the odometer and you know I ve had two times the "check engine" light on and the noise arround the window/top/door and that`s it. (for the noise I haven`t have it still not to my dealer - no time) but this is only at speeds up to 80 kph (50 mph) and you know Hans use to go double or three times that speed and sometimes even faster.

Next problem

Yes you are right, as you always are.
A new problem has cropped up which is not GM but the Michelin tires. As the rear tires wear further down, they get louder and louder, especially on concrete. It sounds like I'm driving a truck. When I go over the concrete road bed that that has the cuts in it to drain off water the rear end sounds like a generator at a power plant.....What next?

Since Cadillac sold them to me and installed them, I would think these should be covered under the tire warranty (design flaw or something like that)

Well, the bigger the tires, the more road noise, that`s maybe why I still got my stock ones on. I know you have the 20 Foose on and this would be a warranty to the tire company Michelin.
Bob, you are still lucky, you can drive top down. Here we got right now 30° - isn`t that cold?

Only the rear ones are growling because they are wearing down. I never had any problem with them, but now I do.

why not drive it by 30° :lol. Sure I take it out in winter-time but usually not when there are a couple of inches snow (schnee) on the road.
I`ve only drove it one time in snow that was last march when I made a trip to Duesseldorf and on my way back it was starting to snowing. It was on the Autobahn and everyone was driving slow, no problem!!!

One good thing, I have three other cars to use

Did you know that our XLR`s get a little more power when it`s cold in the 20° - 30° range (cold and dry), that`s the air this engine gives the most power away.
