Yesterday I may have created a minor problem. I checked my oil level, added oil to the correct level and forgot to install the oil filler cap. I than drove the car for aa short ride 45 miles without the engine light being shown. Upon the return leg I stopped for fuel buttoned up the fuel door and noticed that the ENGINE light was illuminated. The question is can I reset the engine icon so it is out without returning to the dealer? Thanks pilotcar

If both caps are in place and no damage was done....the light should go off after a few restarts
