The DVD code allows you to operate the DVD while driving (Probably not a real good idea)
The GPS code provides general access to the Nav. system such as satellite signal info, all the nav system imputs, do tests on the mic and speakers, check software version, etc. When in the Nav system, be sure not to mess with the set calibrations.
I ubderstand that the DVD code works with all XLR's and the GPS code works with most, but not all.

The flag, well thats just me :flag

I like listening to concert DVDs while driving,
the sound quality is great and you only need the occasional glance to view whats going on........

but I think I'll leave that GPS code alone :nono

Hold the screen button

You hold down the button at the lower right (I think its right) of the screen that has a mini-screen and something else on it for about 5 seconds or so. A new screen will pop up and you can enter the code.

Once entered, the DVD change will last for as long as you have th car on (you have to do it each time you start). Then just go to the DVD and hit play. It will continue to play the video even when you are driving.

Take your nav disc out and put in your dvd disc. Press the button above the volume button and hold for 5 seconds and a diagnostic pad with numbers will appear. Put in code 1791. press DVD and play. Take it out of park and it should work if you have an 04. GM found out we had the code so they changed it for the 05's. It's funny how they listened to us on this but fail to listen when we have a complaint.
