I have an Infrared, I guess I've posted enough pictures by now:rolleyes

I really like black, but won't own one because of the upkeep. One thing I was really disappointed though was how much the orange peel shows on the black V. I've seen a crimson that was sanded and clear coated and what an increadible difference. Considering doing mine, has anyone here done this?

Mike,
This is what I have been looking for, a way to make the paint look deeper, but why would you have to sand it, if it's new. (wait i get it, we are sanding the clear) How about a few coats of clear and sanded each time. I think it would show up good on your car, but wonder if I would be wasting money on platinum.

right, they block sand just the clear coat to get it smooth, then apply several coats of clear to give it a really deep rich look. Even though it's new, it dosen't have a $75K+ finish IMO. Probably most effective on darker colors, but it will help the platinum too.
