I was pretty surprised that after fixing it for myself, the clock was off when my wife drove; closer inspection suggests that if you switch drivers using the seat buttons, it will gladly (foolishly?) switch back and forth.

Can anyone come up with any reason whatsoever this is a good idea to "personalize"?!?

While your wife is using her fob, set the time and then press you seat button to set it, as you would for other options. Think this might work

If I am not mistaken each Fob is link to a different driver and remembers a varity of settings including radio stations and speaker settings even the station you were on when you programed it last. I'm sure it must remember your wifes settings in the radio and she must of had the selection not to honor daylight savings time selected. With your wifes fob geti nthe car and change that in the radio then resave it as you did the first time by pushing the corisponding button on your seat and hearing the confirming beeps.

I found the same thing. I used my regular FOB last week and reset the time.

Last night, I took the second FOB (I am the only driver), and the time was Daylight Savings, I had to reset again.

Looks like each FOB has to be reset. Not sure of the reason, one reset should really do both. Hard to envision a situation when one driver would be in one timezone and the other in a second.

Absolutely right -- It's not hard to fix, once you know about it; just hitting the seat button to switch to the other driver while you're fixing the clock works. It's just pointless.

Speaking of which, is anyone else's plastic panel coming loose on the driver's seat? When you push back the leather, you can see some discoloration; and in general it feel flimisier than it used to (?) Any other wear-and-tear reports on the seat controls fascia?

mine are both loose....some of the mounts are broken on the underside. eventually they will need replacing...hope not too expensive. mine broke from sitting side saddle on the edge

Dealer just replaced two of the leather seat "patches" due to discolorations. Did a very good job.

My plastic panel just broke off (yesterday) when I sat down. I haven't gotten *that* heavy The break occured where the screw attaches the panel to the seat. It is a poor design since it uses the screw to counteract an outward force rather than just keeping the panel attached.
