This keeps getting bigger. Here is where the idea was hatched to join the NCH group! Paula and I are counting on our XLR friends and new members to join us here in Mattoon and Effingham Illinois for this year's event. The Grand Champion Nationally recognized BBQ Champion will again prepare Saturday's feast for us!

As last year, we will have limited accomodations available. We have secured a block of hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Express here in Mattoon if you need a room.

The "activity committee" has something new planned so a good time will be had by all.

Should you want a hotel room, BOOK IT NOW! The corvette show will fill all of them in a 75 mile radius from here. I can get you hotel phone numbers if needed.

I had a great meeting with Mid America Motorworks, the sponsor of their Funfest event. They have embraced the XLR group and will be setting up our own special area. MAM is also looking into adding XLR merchandise to their product offering.
