This past saturday, I ordered my new corsa exhaust. They say to allow about 7 to 10 days for it to come in. I saw one last week on vacation in Naples fl. and it was awsome. Couldn't beleve the sound it produced. Now, the waiting game begins. I'll let you know how it is after the install. Bill in Orlando fl.:cool

I've had mine for about a year now and can't imagine the XLR without them.

Combined with the K&N filters which went in at the same time, performance is way up and gas mileage too. 30 MPG is real easy to get with cruise control on the open highway:flag

Greetings Hans,

You really are not good for my ego... Your XLR-V is beautiful, congratulations! I have not visited this site very often lately. Sorry if you have commented in previous posting, but how do you like your XLR-V. Any problems with heat transfer? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

That's a mock V, rims sent to Hans from my V and then he bought some badges. Looks great...........Right. All he needs is the raised hood and know one would know the difference, except for the color.(Thunder Grey)
I guess I could answer the questions about the heat transfer, if you mean in the console. It's great, just like in any normal car.

John,
no heat problem with the console, it get`s a little warm I would say just about the same it was in my Vette`s.

Mike,
I read all posts on the forum but you know how it is - sometimes you have just nothing to say.

Bob,
you are right, it`s not a V but a very nice XLR:lol and your V will beat me up to 158 in acceleration but after the 158 I`ll take the lead with my NON V:glol

Kent,
hope to see you next year at Bowling Green in a new V, I think this happens:thumbs

Jim,
I´m pretty sure you`ll have a V for next BG XLR Rendezvous II, if you don`t have it before you`ll take delivery at the Corvette museum BG. You know how to surprise people, just remember when you bought the 07 Escalade at Galles&Davis;)

You are all great people

Hans, I don't think I'll have a V for the Rendezvous. We bought two regular XLRs in 2006 and a 2007 Escalade, so we will probably have to wait a year to buy a V model, unless I can get them to buy my XLR back like Bob did. Jim

Why not

If you have enough problems and paper to back it, why not?

Corsa Exhaust

Hello All:

Picked up an XLR 3 weeks ago and am interested in the Corsa Touring Cat Back exhaust system. I'm wondering if anyone who installed this experienced a 'check engine' light? Any issues?

Also, did you notice a performance improvement?

Thanks

Hi Toxic,
no negative experiences since I`ve put the Corsa on mine about 15 months ago.

Jim Browning Jr.(son of Corsa performance company) told me there should be about 10% increase in horsepower what would be arround 350 and I guess he`s right.

I know in US test`s the XLR got o-60 times of around 5.9 seconds!
I`ve meassured mine 3 times and got 0 -100 kph (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds.

Top end before Corsa 286 kph (177 mph) - with Corsa 292 kph (181 mph)

The export model is NOT speed limited!!!!!!!

The sound is fantastic - I love it!

Hi Hans:

Thanks for your note. I personally would enjoy the XLR a bit more if I could hear it ! Not too loud, but something would be better than the typical Cadillac silence.

Thanks also for the results of your tests. If I install the Corsa, I will dyno my car and will share the data here.
