Corsa Exhaust installed at Midas

My Corsa Exhaust finally arrived after a wait of two weeks. I ordered it direct from Corsa and got Jim Browning Jr. as the sales person. Jim matched a internet price I had looked at from a Florida vendor. Midas installed it on my three week old pearl red 2005. ~Last of a great color???!~ It took about an hour and fifteen minutes, price $95.00 to install. The sound is like everyone has stated Lo Rumble, very nice. The polished stainless tips are a little larger and look awesome. The factory should just put the Corsa on as a option!

Are you in Florida???? If yes, I would make a little way from Naples to hear this great sound.

Corsa Exhaust System

Gosh, Guys and Gals,
It's nice that the revelations and rumblings of the Corsa exhaust on the XLR are finally getting some advocates.
I posted my review after installation and stated, "It was the best after market modification I'd done to my XLR."
In my opinion, Cadillac should subcontract with Corsa to build all their exhaust systems, just like they did with Mercedes Benz on the XLR top.

Cheers,

Brooks

Exhaust

Before I spend the $1,400. I've had a Borla on a 2002 Tbird, a 2005 Mustang GT with SLP mufflers. They all had a drone at about 2,000 RPM's that wasn't enjoyable. Once they were on I was tempted to put factory back on. I sold both cars instead. With the CORSA exhaust do you get a drone at any point? Can you carry on a conversation with acceleration? Before I make this investment and then end up regretting it your thoughts would be appreciated. Can anyone with the exhaust provide a review beyond “it sounds great”. Thanks in advance.

Corsa Exhaust drone?

Upstate, I just put the Corsa on, and it is too early to tell. Everybody has a little different taste. I like it so far even my wife who said if it is anywhere close in sound of my truck (2004 Stick Dakota with cat back Raven ) off the Corsa will come. It is still there!

I didn't put it on mine because I have a V ordered but most threads and posts have said there is no drone at any speed. I'm sure someone will verify this. I had a Pontiac Daytona 500 with an exhaust change and it was terrible above 50 miles an hour, so I know what you mean.

Corsa Exhaust

Don't have any experience re: Borla exhaust systems, however, as an old California hot-rodder, I can tell you that Smitty muflers used to be the finest thing we could install and still be street legal. Their sound was symphonic, as is the Corsa on the XLR.

Achh! De is no drone at any RPM's.

Buy it. You won't be sorry.

Smitty Mufflers, brings back memories

Borla decided not to make a system for the XLR...Didn't think there would be enough business.

One of the members of this forum has the Borla prototype, but that was it. :flag
