I just got an '05 XLR and loaded my CDs into it. I have a couple which I've made myself, with tracks from various other CDs on it. I'm getting a message that says "CD ERROR". Will this player play only purchased CDs?

No Rick, I have burned a few CD's and have no problem. Does it work with a store bought CD?

You have a big learning curve in front of you and may take many hours sitting in the car learning all the neat features.

Rick,

Most car players have issues with self made CD's if you have put a label on them, as it changes the thickness of the CD. I have the same problems in GM, Ford etc. cars. Try unloading it and reloading it, sometimes they are getting stick going into the player.

Today, it's skipping on the store bought CDs as well. Time to go back to the dealer
