I have a set of four Stock Brake Rotors (front and rear) which have been replaced with the Corvette 2 piece XDrilled rotors.

The Rotors are from a 2006 XLR and have 1500 miles on them (have not had the car very long) - Cost is $75 plus actual shipping costs from Orl:jester ando Florida.

Hey Jim
Did your wife want you to sell the brakes too?

YES -- :banghead - Actually all of my fun modifications are being reversed.

So the brake-rotors, sway bars, exhaust and wheel/tires are being reset to Stock. In short my attempt of making a Luxury Corvette (handling and performance wise) from an XLR has failed. Should have gotten the V class - would have been a lot closer. So watch the forum for the other items to show up.

The two things have started the process - first she can not handle the sound of the Exhaust. Second I could not get the new Wheel/Tire combination to create a smooth ride (4 attempts at balancing, indexing, etc. - and it still had issues). So stock wheels are not happy with rear rotors (so brakes off) - Sway Bars with stock exhaust does not work - so . . . . :cry.

Well I can still play with the electonics (I hope) :rolleyes

drilled rotors

what was the problem, or was there one with the drilled rotors and stock wheels?also, tell me about the sway bar with the corsa exhaust, did it work ok? I'm also in Orlando. I sold my 05 c6 corvette when I bought the 06 xlr and have been doing a few modds also. Bill

Wow - we should have gotten together and traded vehicles :D

Ocool. No physical problem with the brake rotors as long as you have 19" wheels on the back - otherwise they are fine. If you have any interest in these - let me know. While the wheels/tires I picked looked great - IMHO - and really helped the handling - the tire store could not get them balanced and did not engage the idea of different tires or wheels being tried. And given my current mind-set (and my wife's :) ) - not certain I am going to try again - at least for the moment.

As to the sway-bar and Corsa - it fit like a dream and really made the car "flat" in the corners - a big improvement over a stock XLR. Not certain how well the V series performs - but these bars are the Z06 flavor and really made a difference. Also if you are on a non-V XLR - you will need the End-Links and Bushing Mounting Plates. Again if you are interested - let me know.

EradiSpeed Plus 2 - Front and Rear Brake Rotors for sale.

These are Cross-Drilled and Sloted 2 piece rotors from Baer Brakes and sold through Ecklers (others too - but Ecklers is where I got mine).

Brakes have less than 2K miles on them and have been fully Seasoned. These really improve the braking performance over the stock.
Had to revert to Stock due to being forced back to 18" wheels (really a long story - but that is the abridged version :) ).

Price is $1095 plus $50 towards shipping (within continental US)
====================
The fronts are 13 3/8 diameter and work with 18" and larger wheels. The full description can be found at the following web site - Ecklers Price is $799

http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf_id=48545&dept_id=1089
----------------------------------

The rears are 14" diameter and I strongly recommend 19" or larger rear wheels - the 18" will clear if there are no balance weights in the caliper space. Ecklers description can be found at the following web site - Ecklers Price is $799

http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf_id=48547&dept_id=1089

(Note: The Ecklers' photo shows new caliper mounts along with the relocating assemblies - the caliper mounts do not come with the kit and are not needed - so the photo is a bit misleading).
---------------------------

I can provide photos of the rotors and parts for anyone interested - just drop me an email.
