I took delevery of my new XLR-V on Friday Morning. Before I was able to drive away we had to put a charger on the battery. Granted the doors ,hood,and trunk had all been opened and closed a number of times but no more than my XLR I had parked along side to transfer the contents to the new V. I was told that the battery had been fully charged duing the prepping of the car. Once home I hooked up the battery tender that had been always hooked to the XLR when not being driven. Once again after a few cycles of the top the battery again was not strong enough to properly shut the windows or operate the trunk. (I know the battery tender only outputs 2 amps) I am about to go drive the V for the day the tender has now been hooked up for over a day and the green light is on indicating a full charge, I would like to know if anyone else has had Battery Issues with their XLR-V ? And how you might have solved them. Has any one put in a larger battery?

PS. The cadillac service dept tech installed a switch(we used a cadillac valet on /off switch) and located it in the rear of the center console, to control the exhaust baffles. It looks and works Great.

Great to hear about your switch. Your battery could be down from it not being driven. Drive it for a day (at least an hour of total driving) then go throught the paces and see how it holds up. Any further problem and go back for a new battery. Where is the battery located anyways?

Welll Tim, That makes two switches in the back plate of the center console box. I cut the red wire and put in a rocker swith in red. The caddy guys went nuts over the sound difference. It's amazing that your tech would do it and my dealer wanted nothing to do with putting in the switch.
Sorry to say, no problems with the new baby V.
Have you locked it in aggressive driving mode yet? What a kick that is.

battery life

I Accidently Left The Passenger Door Ajar For A Little Over A 24 Hour Period And The V Was Totally Dead. Had To Use The Key In The Bumper To Open The Trunk, And Pull The Cord To Open The Door And Then The Hood. Happy To Say No Problems After I Jumped It And Drove It For A Minute.
