Any one know of any changes for '08V

I'm contemplating trading my '05 XLR in on an '07V. My local dealer has made me an offer that's pretty enticing. I'm in no real hurry to trade up so I can wait for an '08. Does anyone know of any proposed changes for the '08V versus '07? If there aren't going to be any major changes, I may just take the plunge, even though it is winter here in PA.
TIA for any information that can be provided and any comments that anyone feels would be appropriate.

Your are kidding aren't you? The 07 has been out 7 weeks and you want to know changes?
Take the deals being offered for the 06 or 07's. You won't be disappointed.

I would like to now what kind of offers the dealer has given for your 05 xlr? I own an 05 xlr with 2,100 miles and would like to trade up for a Xlr-V also. Thanks
I traded up from a 05 to a V last week. My 05 had 20500 miles and had problems mechanically. The dealer gave me $45000.
Thay have it on their used car lot for $53000
The fact is 'YOU'RE GOING TO GET HURT" and so is the dealer!!!!

I don't know of any way to win on just one side of the tradeup equation!!

I like the idea of waiting to see what happens in the 08 model year.

I THINK THE REAL QUESTION IS WILL THEY CONTINUE TO MAKE XLR'S AND XLR-V'S?? I hope so but we'll see.

If they stop the "V" then the "collectors" will show up.

Also Cadllac is starting to make some changes in the body on some of the 08 models. So will the 08 look different and will they put some badly needed upgrades in the interior cabin??

Interesting thoughts.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

When we go to Bowling Green in August, 2007 they will be in the early production of the 2008 models and we will get to see what changes have been made and maybe get an idea of the future of the XLR. Another good reason to attend.
XLR Body Changes

Just to clear some stuff up before there is incorrect speculation. There will be no body changes for the next few years, if you look at our history we usualy go 6-7 model years before we change the looks of a vehicle. If the looks are considered not as popular, there may be some minor refreshing sooner. But that is not the case with the XLR.

How about whether or not a "V" will be made in 2008???

Future Updates

Yes of course there will be an XLR-V, it is not a limited edition like the Neiman Marcus, Star Black or the Passion Red. It is it's own model, like the regular and the upcoming Platinum XLR.
