It appears we will be receiving yet another recall notice, this one associated to an issue with the accelerator pedal assembly's return springs.

GM recall notice # 05018

NHTSA Campaign ID # 05V046000

Looks like it effects quite a few other cars.

Exactly what I needed!!
I got a ticket going 120mph....I tried to tell the judge the pedal stuck...now I have the proof!! :thumbs

A solid defense strategy, as long as the outside temp. is below -22 degrees fahrenheit............you might experience some level of difficulty convincing the judge of that one considering your demographics.

Ah, Kings County. I had an uncle who was one of the original founders of the Superior Dairy Products. Some of the best ice cream available anywhere.

My wife and I used to fly back to Hanford (HJO for you pilots, yes I also have my PPL) on weekends to visit family in the area and always stopped by the Dairy for some of thier small-lot, hand made ice cream.

Mercedes in trouble

So we have had a few recalls and a few things go wrong with our babies.

If it was a FORD. aka Fraud, or "Fix & Repair Daily", we would just deal with it.

But, the wonderful Icon, Mercedes is in financial trouble do to Mercedes Bends & then breaks.

Around my area in Southern California, tow trucks and flatbed auto carriers are a dime a dozen carrying.................You guessed it. MB's Saw one being picked up and one carrying one today.

Granted MB's are a dime a dozen in this area, that's one reason I bought my XLR.

I heard on the news this morning that Mercedes is in trouble financially, again, I'm just the messenger
