Has anyone put the air intake sys. from SKY_nc on thier XLR. I ordered one and it threw an engine code "not enough air" with a TeckII put the orignal air box back on and code goes away. got one msg in three days from the co. :nopity :cuss :boxing

that's the trouble with some of these aftermarket companys that claim to increase air flow, and other unsubsubstantiated claims, when they're actually decreasing it. Usually the consumer dosen't know any better.....but the XLR does!!:lol :smash

a few things you might check though......
the filter element is not over oiled and
the sensor is well positioned and connected (very touchy!)

I took pictures and sent them in to the company, got an ans. this morning from a jim who stated "you got it right, you are good to go"
I ans. back "provide me a RTA # . you are correct ,I should have known better, although I have received good results on some of my vettes.
the DTC P0101 indicates that unit is not letting enough air in to the MAF sensor. I did find out the XLR has at least 22 sensors and I had a lot other codes had been thrown due to installing a new battery . got rid of those.:chee

sorry i dont know the telephone number but im also having a problem with a new intake from B&B or something I forgot the company but even after changing the filter to an aem dryflow filter with higher flow my car continues to throw codes
