Many have asked specifics on the hot new Passion Red Limited Edition XLR. Now it's all being disclosed, unique color and equipment specifics are available along with a good look at the roadster. For those whom desired a sportier red, instead of the more elegant Infra Red you will be pleased.

To view the Passion Red XLR, simply go to:

It's August in Texas...

...so as usual, its hot enough to bake cookies on your XLRs seat chiller (while its ON, donchaknow).

Speaking of hot, I'm starting to warm up to the "Passion Red" limited edition.

Not a V, but hot enough.

I wonder how it would look with White Diamond flames? :angel

Thanks for the link, Allen.

I wonder if the non-metallic paint will have less orange peel than the metallic?

Allen, on a Z06 this would be my favorit color with the black and red seats but in my opinion this is no color for the XLR. (again, that`s my opinion)

The SL 500 you could have in a similar red as the victory-red is and you know how many choose this color 2% - but it`s a limited edition on the XLR and others like it, they`ll sell all of them:yesnod

2007 Passion Red Limited Edition XLR

Hans You are correct, in a special edition any color will sell. With total production of only 250 or 5% of the XLR production, this is designed for someone that wants something totally different than a luxury color such as Infra Red.

Thank you
Allen

Hi Allen,
when I see the bigger photo of this Passion Red on your web-site, the one you stand behind the car, this color start to look good to me.
This color would be a hot one for the XLR V.

Are some photos of the platinum edition out allready?

Thank you
Hans

Passion Red

I agree Hans, the Passion Red would look great on the XLR-V. The only way that will happen is if the Passion Red Limited edition sells out quic and people are begging to get their hands on one.

The only "Real" picture of the Platinum XLR is the one that I showed here previously. To view the Platinum go to:

The Passion Red is starting to grow on me as well. When I think of some of the Cadillacs that really stood out to me in the 60's and 70's some of those that made the most impact were a similar shade of red. I'm just not sure if it is as bold on the smaller XLR.

Passion Red

Hey Blue Bunny, have you seen the Passion Red in person? I saw it up on a drive up ramp at Allen Cadillac and I thought it was a sign for the local fire house ........It sure is red, no flake, just red. It could use a ladder on each side.
It's funny how Ferrari can look so good in red. Some cars will look good in any color, case in point is the Lincoln Mark V series back in the seventies. I had a Gold Diamond Jubilee edition and there was a two tone lavender and purple that really looked good.................well at least to me.
Hey just my opinion. It seems no one wants to talk on here anymore so I thought I would get something up that is controversial, maybe that will draw some interest. I understand when GM cuts me my check, they will take my 04 platinum to the auction. Other than the heat problem, somebody wil get a nice clean cherry 04 for really cheap.:party

Bob, I passed on Victory Red C6 today and that got me thinking more about the Victory Red. Will have to see one in person but I think they are going to be O.K. Persoanlly I am still resisting buying a V, the close out pricing is awfully tempting.

Hey there is no accounting for taste, I had a Bill Blass version of the Mark, Should have been a pimp :glol

Do it

You'll look awfully good in a new V in Bowling Green next summer, Plus you can keep up with me on I-40.

If you can swing it, do it. I should have let everyone take it out on I-35 in Albuquerque at the rendezvous last summer, just to see the power they where missing.
