Not Driven

Yes, the odometer reads 360 (three hundred sixty) miles. I bought the car new in October 2004 and tucked it away for the winter and never really brought it back out to be driven, so I have had the XLR for 16 months. In hindsight it was not the right time of year to get a new car with winter upon us. I am looking forward to the V with a spring delivery so there will be no reason to tuck it away. I plan to enjoy it every day(except in the rain unless I get caught) Tim.

I`ve always loved my Vette`s as you know but I´m very happy with my XLR too.

Hi Harry, I picked up a Z-06 Z-16 Commemorative they are all blue with a white strip down the center. mine was the 179th one made. was going to buy 2006 Z06 and had my order in for three of them with deposits and order numbers, sold my slots to three of my friends for 2k usd each. therefore; this Z06 only cost me 38k USD. sure is a world of difference in the ride IE comfort between the XLR and the Z06. Harry some one has the computer info on how to get rid of the US verson and program the export model of XLR, such as yours, help harry hell, your XLR is as fast my Z-06 vette.:cheers :cheers arty

Yes, you are right my XLR runs good but up to 160 or 170 mph you leave me a little behind your Z06. As you know I`ve owned 3 C5`s and most I got out of my last one with 6 speed was 304 kph (189 mph) in 5th gear. (XLR 289 kph)
Do you have a other exhaust system on your XLR? If not, get you the Corsa - Bud you`ll love it.
I have no idea who can program the US model to make it run like the exports do - maybe you should buy your next XLR here in Germany.:glol

Bud, you got the right pair of cars, one is maybe missing a car for 4-5 persons and I think a STS V would be good for this:lol

We had this year very much snow in my area but it`s almost gone (but still cold)

If you can belive the numbers in Car & Driver 0 to 60 in 4.7 and the Vette will beet the V in the 1/4 mile by a fender.. That's OK, I think the Corvette should remain the top dog.
