Post Front emblem

I have a 2005 XLR that by accident someone pushed in the front emblem. Looking online at new ones, I do not see how to attach a new one? Has anyone replaced the emblem?
Thanks
Tom

I replaced my faded one today. Had to remove the plastic top cover at the front of the engine compartment. This is the one over the grill assembly. Just pull out the plastic plugs/screws. You will then be able to see the two Phillips screws that hold the assembly/holder in place. Once those screws are removed, the whole assembly is hinged and swings down. (I have no idea why itís hinged....maybe someone can tell me) You will have to unsnap the whole hinge. Kind of twist it out. Btw, the emblem is supposed to be somewhat recessed from the wreath. If itís been pushed in more, I assume the screws will be missing, or the plastic will be broken. Used fishing line to separate the emblem from the plastic holder....just slid the line in between the holder and the shield....and pulled it back and forth.
