I've been visiting the XLR Forum after I inherited my moms 2006 XLR. It's a sweet ride. I've had to put some work into it because she didn't drive it much, it only has 38, 000 miles! It had long periods of sitting. Had a coolant leak into the thermostat housing so had thermostat replaced, 3 cyclinders were not clicking so repaired that, all fluids replaced, 4 new tires.

Recently someone hit my car in a parking ramp and broke the headlight cover. Lucky for me she left a note with her insurance information. The entire headlight housing had to be replaced. Since my car is in mint condition, I needed a new headlight. Hard to find for the XLR. Used replacement were not an option. They found a new one for $5,000!! The insurance company had no choice but to replace it. I suppose parts are gonna be hard to find since most are not made anymore. Now having issues with the trunk not opening unless I'm putting the top down. I've read some about it and will keep you posted.
