Dose anyone have a complete stock lower grill for 04 XLR for sale? Ialso need the front spolier. Is there a custom grill that I can get that will not interfer with my adaptive cruse control? Griff
There are two lower grilles on ebay one is for a 09V and the mesh covers the entire grille, the other is for a 09 not V it has the mesh in the center and black inserts on each side. I think the last one might work on my 04 . All input would be welcomed. Thanks Griff
Either way I believe it will end up around $130 dollars - including shipping if you purchase on-line.
I am not aware of any alternate grills that would not interfere with the cruise control sensor. But I have not researched that subject - I decided to keep mine original.
I have a 2005 XLR. I seem to have lost the flexible black plastic spoiler that goes between two others that wrap around both front fenders. Does anyone on this forum know what that part is actually called, or what the part number is? I think it's a spoiler but I'm not entirely sure. I have looked on the GM Parts web site, but can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim Houston
Removal of the bumper cover is not required. Remove the two Plexiglas side pieces and remove the bolts across the top. Then it's a matter of removing clips. Install the new grill with the two side pieces removed and install them last. It takes about 30 minutes to change.
If thats the part that i think it is. Its not To bad now. Ill wait for a while longer
Before I have to replace it.
