"SAE Detroit Section to Introduce GM Cadillac STS-V and XLR-V at August 30 Meeting

DETROIT--July 29, 2005--GM to introduce Cadillac STS-V and XLR-V at the SAE Detroit Section meeting on Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Speakers will be Brad Saxman, Program Engineering Manager for the XLR; Greg Prior, Design System Engineer for Northstar V8 Engines, and John Barrick, Program Engineering Manager for the STS-V.

The meeting will be held at the GM Vehicle Engineering Center, 30001 Van Dyke, Warren, MI. The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 and the presentation at 7:30. Tickets can be purchased for $37 each for SAE members, $42 for non-members and $15 for student members by calling the SAE Detroit Section at 248-324-4445 or online at www.sae-detroit.org."

this means we see the first road test`s of the XLR V and STS V in the october issues of the car magazins. Wished it would be sooner.
