Rydell or Casa de Cadillac?

I'm finally bringing in my XLR for it's first service. At about 21 months and 6500 miles, it's about time, no? I know, shame on me for waiting so long.

I can easily bring it in to Rydell in Northridge, but I suspect they do not have the experience that Casa de Cadillac has but I have no way of knowing for sure.

Anyone have experience with the service department of either place or any of the other nearby dealers such as Thousand Oaks?

I was on vacation in the LA area last summer and the service engine light came on in my XLR. I took it to Casa de Cadillac and they treated me well. There was a long line in the service department, and me being from out-of-town, and not a customer of this dealership, I was prepared for a very long wait. They took me the front of the line and had one of the mechanics who specialized in XLRs take a look at my car. They diagnosed the problem and reset the computer and I was out of there within an hour. I have no experience with the other dealer, but can report that I was more than satisfied with Casa de Cadillac.

Bought mine at Bunnin in Oxnard, now have it serviced at Thousand Oaks. Much better and they have more qualified XlR trained service people.

If you are anywhere in southern counties ,I certainly recommend Allen Cadillac in Laguna Niguel. I didn't buy either of mine there but have visited their :flag service dept. (for Corsas) and was very impressed with their service.

i've had my '05 to casa auto group and they were ok -- had a rear end problem that they could not fix without the help of another forum member that supplied the GM part numbers for some positration additive and differential fluid.
