I want to post pictures like you have here. Can you help?
I'm going to try and post 2 pictures of two V's that are supposed to be the new ultra red but they are miles apart. Anyone know which one is the real deal? See, I can't do it.

I vote for the first one. It looks more "flame". The secxond one looks just like Crimson Pearl (the one I have).

Neither! :nono
The first is a raw photo under very intense lighting and the other is computer "enhanced" and no way of knowing how acurate the color is.
I think it will be somewhere in between :rolleyes

I have a tendency to go along with your thinking on this one.
Jim & Jean from Corrales, NM said that there having an international auto show there this weekend. I wonder if they would have the V there and would it be the red one from NY? I'd fly out if I thought for one minute.............
BTW..........Did we accomplish our destination task?

Both reds are one in the same, the Infra Red is slightly clossser to the Pearl Red of the 1995-1997 than the Crimson Pearl of 1998-2005. The latter has slightly more blue in the color to darken it.
The photos of the XLR-V from the new York Auto Show bring out the brightness and reflection that the new Xirillac Flake bounces the light off the surface, when bright light is directed at it. The Studio shots of the Infra Red were under a softer light. Read about the Xirillac Flake on the Specifications page www.cadillacxlr-v.com/page3.html (http://www.cadillacxlr-v.com/page3.html)
This situation looks no different than at the 2003 Detroit Show we had pics of the Light Platinum that looked Pearl White because of the bright lights. The Crimson Red on my colors page www.cadillac-xlr.com/_wsn/page6.html (http://cadillac-xlr.com/_wsn/page6.html)
looks very Cherry red because it was taken as it rolled off the carrier on a very bright day.
I have attached the two photos of the same Infra Red that vary because of the lighting.
