The XLR-V has been disclosed in at least two auto mags that I've seen and it looks and reads like a real winner. I'm working with my dealership to be in line with one of the first in my area of a "V" XLR.

Yes Hans, I would love to have it by Xmas but since I'm already driving an XLR, I can wait for my sling shot. I have no words of incouragement as to when they will be available, but should no in July when I visit BG, KY.

So, I understand some of the people on this site don't appreciate test pilots that push the envelope? I don't mind be ganged up on, what the hell, there only words. 6mph,
1 mph, 15 mph, so what. I'm sure glad I provided them with some entertainment for awhile. They must have all rode the little yellow bus and had a crash helmets on when they were younger. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_7_10v.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxmk572YYUS)

Where the hell would we have been without Chuck Yeager when he pushed the stick forward instead of holding it back?

I guess I'm just not Chuck and I have no creditials, and quite frankly, I woudn't stoop to their level in responding to their alligations. I will always push the envelope, that's what life is all about. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_3_108.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxmk572YYUS)

And for those who don't like smiley's, They can be turned off at the bottom of the page.
Weekend is here Hans................top down, eye candy in the other seat and away we go.

Actually 6 days. My daughter wants to see her grandma while we are in Albuquerque and we are also going to try and have dinner with Jim & Jean. They are the people trying to organize the New Mexico XLR rally. Then of course we are stopping at Bowling Green and then going to see The Luray Caverns in Virgina. Ya just can't keep driving and not do something along the way.

Peace....................out http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_1_17.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxmk572YYUS)

Nobody is perfect? Gee you wouldn't know it on this site. Hans, your just a bright light on this site. I'm really proud to have made your acquaintance.

Sooooooooooo, You have a Dream Machine too? I'll have to take a picture of my back window where it says, "Dream Machine" and send it to you.
Ah yes, summer is just around the corner and your top will be down all the time.

Send the pic, please. You say it`s on the back window, so you only can see it when your top is up ? Am I right?

Now I go to the ACC, got something to tell :yesnod

Yes Hans, it's on the back window. I should have put it on the sneeze guard, I mean windbaffle, but it might have blocked my vision.

Camera is in my van at the dealers, will take one when I get it back. That's quite a challenge, discusion, argument, volley, or whatever your having over a few miles an hour on the speedometer, but why should I be suprised.

Hi Standby, if you keep driving your XLR, you will have as many miles on your XLR as I have on mine. MY XLR just turned a year old April 14 and has 30658 miles on it. been a great ride. Will also be in Luray next week, we may run into each other. Got my C6 Z06 ordered and should pick it up in Atlanta in Sept time frame. Later..... :jester

I have to go alot to catch up with 30.000 miles. Mines 9 months old and I have 5,788 on mine but I know I'm putting on about 6,000 this summer when we go back east.

Where you talking about Luray Cavers in Virginia? Will be there around the 13th of July.

I hope you enjoy your new Vet in September, are you going to keep the XLR?

Now if we could just get the ladies to do the same.:nono no, no no, Bob!

Sorry, I have a vivid imagination.

I don't have any rock chips on mine either and I don't wear a bra.http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_55.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxmk572YYUS)

Is the seethrough bra like a plastic coating?. The company that put tint on my windows asked if I wanted it, but I hadn't heard anything about at that time, so I delclined. Was that Luray Caverns?
