: Posting to "My XLR Photos"
aviator 01-20-2005, 12:54 PM Several of you have asked how to upload photos to "My XLR Photos". (And some of us are too macho to ask directions. :eek Aviator understands that logic. :yesnod ) However, the algorithm seems to have changed since I did it.
Try this: Go to the "Gallery" link on the menu bar above, then "My Gallery" just below the menu bar on the left. Then "Upload Photos" on the right.
You may also want to upload photos to the general gallery.
Formerly, about mid page right side there was a second login button, and you had to login before getting the options you needed. That requirement seems to be gone now.
That should do it. I'm hoping that with this brief instruction, we'll be seeing photos of all these new XLRs
standby 01-20-2005, 03:31 PM You are my hero, THANKS. Pictures are up
aviator 01-20-2005, 05:11 PM She's beautiful. Glad I could help.
I confess I am not entirely happy with the pics that I have on the XLR Forum now. After discovering the effect of the proper setting of "White Balance" with my digital, a five year portfolio of digital photography now looks almost like black and white to my eye.
I will be taking some new photos of our XLR soon, along with it's new (to me) C4 stablemate.
mswaim 01-20-2005, 07:03 PM Were going to be in Carmel for a function this weekend, I need some new ones of my car too.
Troy Roberts 01-25-2005, 03:34 PM We installed some new gallery software so that you don't have to login twice.
I also did a bit of reorganization to the categories.
mtrocket 08-11-2008, 02:08 PM After I click on the "Gallery" link on this page, I don't see a "My Gallery" link - I see a "My Photos" and a "My Favorites" link. And don't see a "Upload Photos" anywhere. I know... I must be blind??

standby 08-11-2008, 03:08 PM Rod, upload is over on the right side, but your not going to get pictures like most of us put up using this method. Just load everything into this site. http://photobucket.com/. then download them into the forum and you get great big pics on any post. You have to have both sites open at the same time to dowload to the forum. It's not the easiest, but once you get the hang of it, you will love it.
--------Get that buggy on the road.

mtrocket 08-11-2008, 04:31 PM thanks... I posted a larger photo (same one as my avatar) on the thread "mtrocket xlr project". I won't be able to work on it for a couple weeks... going out of town the rest of this week, and have a couple paying jobs for next week. I hate it when paying jobs have to come first... but, I guess we have to work to have fun, huh??

standby 08-11-2008, 07:14 PM Rod, If the color is accurate in that picture it doesn't look like infra-red.

mtrocket 08-12-2008, 09:20 AM The color in the picture is pretty close to what it is... may be a little lighter shade because of booth lighting. It is code 80U, which according to the BG production site, it is called Monterey Red... my paint code book lists it the color as Red Jewel. Will post a better picture with the car sitting outside after I'm finished buffing.
And, I still don't see any "upload photos" link on ANY page...

standby 08-12-2008, 06:54 PM Rod, click on this url http://www.xlrforum.com/photopost/
and then look to your right at the bottom of the page without scrolling. It will say "Upload photos"
