Cadillac will be offering a unique CTS-V Coupe variant, dubbed the Black Diamond Edition, based on its unique paint job. The CTS-V will feature the first use of JDSU's SpectraFlair pigment in North America. The SpectraFlair pigment features aluminum flakes rather than small bits of metal, giving it a diamond-like appearance rather than your run-of-the-mill metallic finish. The aluminum flakes are enclosed in magnesium fluoride accenting the tri-coat paint.

In addition to the unique paint job, the CTS-V also receives a set of 19-inch Satin Graphite wheels that are further accented with bright yellow Brembo calipers behind them, six-piston in the front, four-piston in the rear. The interior also comes with upgrades, featuring 14-way adjustable Recaro seats enhanced with French-stitched leather with suede inserts. Midnight Sapele wood trim serves as a minor, yet classy upgrade.

The Black Diamond Edition CTS-V will retail at $69,190 for the manual while the automatic will be available for $70,490. This is a $4,850 increase over the base CTS-V price, a reasonable price tag for the upgrades included
