:cool Does this picture make your eyes tear a little bit. I begged them to build it...........they however decided to make it into a XLR :cry crying!

If my memory is correct, that's the Cien concept - photo from the 2002 Intl. Auto Show. Based soley on cost that concept was doomed from the start.

The XLR is much closer to its original concept, the Evoq which was rolling around in the late 90's.

In fact, if they build the XLR-V, it will be even closer to the original concept.

Last I heard is that one of the head designers was given a choice of producting the Sixteen or the Cien. He chose the Sixteen because he believed the time would come for the Cien and the Sixteen would not get have gone into production without that choice.

I'm already on a list to get a Sixteen.
