Is anyone interested in heading to the National Corvette Homecoming next July 14th - July 16th? They have invited XLR owners to join them. It would be so cool to get a large group of XLR's back home in Bowling Green next summer. I am going to look at my schedule to make sure I can be there.

Let me know if there is any other interest in attending. What a great way to show others how proud we are of our XLR's! :yesnod

This sounds like fun!! I have a 2006 Red XLR-V and would like to see alot in one place. Is there somewhere on the net with more information about this event?

I found the link to the Corvette Homecoming in Bowling Green next July. Here is the link to register. Looks like they have a specific category for XLR's to register.

I have been in contact with Joe Pruitt who is the sponsor of the Corvette Homecoming. He informed me that his invitation is intended for all XLR owners. So if you are interested or think you may be, I recommend that you register and reserve your hotel now.

In my experience these events fill up quickly and you don't want to have to hunt up a hotel at the last minute.

I am looking forward to learning about a very successful event and all of the good times everyone had.

Here are the direct phone numbers and the rates for the 3 hotels there in the group. If everyone gets on the same page there should not be a problem.
But if they call the corporate numbers no telling what they may tell them. Please ask for NCH rates.

Great to hear, Fast1! Where will you be coming from? North, South, East or West? I'm coming down from the Chicago area.

Don't forget to get your hotel room right away - I hear they fill up fast for this weekend.

I think Joe told me that almost 20 XLR's have already registered... and its only November. :yesnod I hope we get a lot more.

Joe Pruitt has said that he has over 25 XLR's registered so far ... sure would be nice to get 100 of them down to Bowling Green next July.

You might want to recheck your figures.

The number I was told is 29 XLR's and maybe 42 people.

In any event it should be a good time for all attendees.

Foxcreek will be unable to attend the National Corvette Homecoming. I am having knee surgery that can't be delayed. Sorry I will miss getting together with everyone.

Change of plans; we won't be able to attend. Maybe next year.

I had a great time in Bowling Green and it was great to see so many XLR's. We made a good showing and it was fun to wow the Vette guys and girls.

I was told the final tally was 42 cars were there, 34 were part of the show.

It was still a very nice turnout.
