Picked up my 07 Silver XLR today and have been busy going thru all the books etc. In the Owners Manual I found the original window sticker and on it under the Nav system it states that included is 2 free map upgrades.
Does anyone know what the part number is for the latest? I want to try and find out if my disk is original or updated. The car was a GM Leased car and placed in service at Audette Cadillac in West Bloomfield, Michigan. It appears to have been a GM Exective lease car.

The latest and greatest nav disk is P/N 25979939U. (It's a two-disk set.) They are finally in stock. GM has been kind of lame about honoring the disk upgrade program as of late. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.

Just received confirmation that the new disk has been shipped to me at no charge. I had sent in the part number off the one in the car and asked if it was the correct one and also told them the window sticker stated that 2 free updates came with the car. I also had a problem programming my door opener in to the Car2U system and after talking to their customer support they are sending me a free conversion kit for my opener.

Good News!! Please post the NAV Disk REV # when you receive it.

Received my new 2 disk set and they are version 8. I have put both in and both bring up my location here in Fort Worth.

I still have V.1. does v.8 give you that much more that it is worth $200 or not really?

Any interest in selling your old disk. I have a 2004 without a disk. I live in New Mexico so the latest details are not real important. I mainly want to be able to have a compass reference.
