A dealer tried to get me to trade my xlr for a zo6 and i looked at him like he was crazy. Dont get me wrong I love corvettes I have a 99 c5 with only 10,000 miles on it but it doesnt compare to the xlr.

My XLR turns heads every day. I have at least one person a day tell me they love my car. :seeya My XLR is black on black. I have 20" crome rims with low profile tires. Flow Master exhaust with larger tips. Under the hood, I had the coweling over the engine painted with a Darth Vader theme with flames.

I know what you mean about our cars turning heads.

I own #165 of only 250 2006 Star Black Metallic Limited Edition XLRs and the most memorable head turning incident I've had happened a couple of months ago.

I had just returned from a road trip to my youngest daughter's in WI. and was driving through my residential area taking my car over to my detailer to have it cleaned. I noticed a man walking his full sized English Bulldog on the opposite side of the street walking toward me. The man was talking on his cell phone and didn't even notice me BUT his Bulldog stopped dead in his tracks and not only turned his head but his whole body to watch me drive by!

THAT was the best compliment I think I've had yet!
