Got a great deal ($27,000 ) on a 29,000 Mile, 04 Silver and Black XLR , I have got to say its far superior to the Mercedes that I traded, The Mercedes was nothing more than a money pit with an average cost of $4-5K a year to maintain and repair. My XLR has 2 issues which I can live with, a non operational cruise control an dead rear winow defroster. I can live without both items but will eventually attempt to repair. The ride and performance is unreal.

Welcome.
Believe it or not but the cruise may just be a fuse as well.
(I read your other posts).
We'll figure it out. There are a lot of real technically experienced members here.

I hate to put a downside on this but my cruise went out and it was the module behind the front bumper. The good news was it took 20 minutes to cheage. The bad news is it cost $1750 RETAIL. I got it wholesale for $1150. Rather pricey. Forget about used. I found 2 and they wanted $900. I hope thats not the problem. I got the dealer to diagnose it for sure before I bought it.
