I am new to the forum and I have been doing alot of research on XLR's. I am looking for a 2006 or 2007 XLR, perferably under 30,000 mile. I am seeing a wide range of prices. I live in Baltimore,MD. Can anyone give me some feedback on what I could purchase an 06 or 07 for and get a fair deal.

Welcome.
You need to look up current prices for the years and models you are interested in on EBay, AutoTrader, Cars.com and get a sense of the current and ever changing market.
Be sure you have a Warranty --factory or GMPP in effect.
Get a Carfax to be sure all is legit with the car, mileage, no wrecks, flooding, excessive service history---etc.

Popular color combos can affect price. You are in the range were the original 4 yr warranties are expiring. We bought a 2005 that had 3 yrs extended GMPP warranty and gladly paid an extra few k$ for it. Thats really the main issue as these are expensive cars to have serviced. They are worth it in my opinion! You can find answers to most questions by searching this site.

Also: On E-Bay, on advanced search, you can see sold for prices (if the buyer actually comes thru) in green under completed listings

Thanks for the info. I will check out ebay sold prices. I just wasn't sure if the dealers were willing to negotiate prices. I guess that may depend how long they have been sitting on there lot.
Thanks

FWIW: ALL sellers--private and commercial are willing to deal these days. Also, money talks. So strike your best cash out the door deal.
Please be sure to read the suggestions on what to check on those cars you ar seriously interested in before you buy. I you have any questions just ask.
Good hunting!!
