Hello - New member here, just north of Austin Texas. Just purchased a 04 black XLR. I was looking for a DTS of all things, and have had several C6's....I guess that's why when I came across the XLR I decided to get it.


I read a lot on the net and this site before making the decision - in fact, that pre-reading brought me to buy my first ever extended warantee. (Did a lot of research on them as well...specifically ensured that top was covered!)

IF you are interested in an extended warranty, many members here including me have had a great experience with Allen Black of Black Cadillac in Pennsylvania.

He sells all of the GM warranties at rock bottom prices. allen@gmoutlet.com

For a good extended warranty on the XLR, you need to have your original factory warranty still in place and then he can sell you a GMPP warranty that will cover the top and all of the parts and electronics.


Tell him Jerry sent you and he may still give you a good deal.

At a minimum you will have a good quote to shop other sources with but so far to my knowledge no one has beat his prices and service.
