Welcome!!!

SEATS: Be sure you have adjusted all of the 6 way controls to your personal taste and "saved" them so you can be ready to go when your key FOB is in range.

I love my seats. I guess it may depend in how big you are. I had the recaro seats in the allante and I think the XLR seats are more comfortable. You'll love the car though.

Hey monepit did you see the '93 red Allante with 5,300 miles sell for $20k at Barrett-Jackson today in Palm Beach?

That goes to show you everyone is different. I love the Recaros in the Allante. If they were the same color I would put them in the XLR. The XLR seats feel like I am sitting on a mushroom! No adjustment for that except gaining about 100 lbs.!

I did not see that. not a bad price at Jackson. I really loved the allante, it was a great car. A friend of mine just bought a 65 impala at jackson yesterday. He and his wife are driving it to Tampa for a car show next weekend we are flying down to meet them wednesday. I will have to say, as much as I loved the Allante, the X beats it hands down.

Well enjoy yourselves in Tampa.

The Allante was pristintine as you would expect for a Barrett-Jackson car.

Kf3er:

Welcome to the forum! Great car, eh? You chose a great color, too. I personally like the seats a lot, but they do take some getting used to. Just play around with the settings and see if you can find something that suits you more. If nothing else, you can always go aftermarket (did I just say that??!). Ha! Anyway, hope you find lots of valuable info here and I run across a post or two of yours.
