I have a 06 v the other night when my wife and I entered the car at dark the interior lights on the rearview mirror came on. (as usual) We then proceeded down the road and they would not go out. We stopped reshut both doors and still they would not go out. I tried the left and right buttons on the mirror but could not get them out till I pushed the long flat button on the right side of the dash. This has never happened before. This is the first I've had it out this winter. It has been sitting under cover with a battery tender on it. Started right up functioned perfectly till this light problem. Any ideas what would have caused this

Possibly the last time you cleaned her you inadvertently depressed the dash button you spoke of. This has bugged people in the past.
