I decided to start a project today I have been thinking about for a while. Since I have an IPhone and a lockpick installed in the XLR I wanted a dock for it. I got to looking at options and really hit the jackpot. I found that if you remove the ashtray the hole is the exact same size as a factory Ipod/ IPhone dock. I removed the top of the console where the ashtray cup holders are and mounted the dock in the ashtray hole. I ran the line in wire from the lockpick to the dock. I then plugged in a 12 volt charger in the plug in the center console and ran the wire to the dock. I did this because I have a Ipod I keep in the car for music and I use the line in wire from the lockpick for the IPhone so if I want to choose songs from the IPhone or listen to Internet radio from the IPhone I can do that, and it will charge the IPhone too. Right now I plug audio from the headphone jack to the Lockpick and use the car charger plugged into the center console. That way I can control from the IPhone. What connectors did you use on the standard charger and where did they come from. Did you use the cigarette lighter at the ashtray for power? Can't tell from the pics.

The aux jack from the Lockpick plugs right into the dock. for the power I used the usb Iphone cable and a usb cig lighter plug. It is pluged into the a plug in the center council. I ran the wire from the dock and through the little light in the council.
