I have an 04 XLR. When I start the car up, the outside temp reading is 45 (it's 28). Within a few minutes, the temp increases until it has read as hi as 91 and stays around 90.
I'm also having trouble maintaining interior heat unless the inside temp is set to 90.

Assuming the outside sensor is defective or fallen off it's mount - does anyone here know where it is located?

The ambient (external) temperature sensor is located on a bracket just behind the front fascia on the lower right/front of the engine compartment at the radiator support.

It has a two-pin connector with a white/black wire and dark blue wire attached to it.
