I am wondering if some of the members have installed nitrogen in thier tires.

If so would you share your experiences with the members--good or bad.

Are the advertising claims true or false???

Is it worth the expense??

Regards.

Hi,

I'm all for it. I had it in my 06'. Am not able to find it locally for my 08' (shop closed). I thought the ride quality was unchanged and very stable at any temperature. It also didn't cause my TPS to light up on cold days.

nitrogen is worth having as it eliminates the change of air pressure in your tires due to temperature changes, as well as eliminating moisture, ask around tire dealers to see if they charge, Discount/Americas tire co. do not ( they have over 750 locations in 22 states) so if there is one in your area it would be good to do, keep in mind we do breath 78% nitogen ;0)

I agree with Tireguy. We run the nitrogen in several vehicles and it does keep the tires from leaking down as much and they do not seem to change with the temperature too much. My wife's Lexus 350 used to complain about low pressure every five or six weeks. Stable now. :jester

The following web site should satisfy the Nitrogen/Air debate...

Two of the best reasons for using Nitrogen is for the lack of water vapor that is found in air and Nitrogen is the more stable at temperature changes...
