I´m a new member and want to say hello, but i got a big problem:

I got a 2005 Cadillac XLR and yesterday I lost my only Key.

What can/should I do now?
The other Problem i still have.. it´s not possible to go to a dealer and order a new key, because there aren´t dealer, and the few mechanics who work or repair us cars got´nt any knowlege on this car.

Well ANY Cadxillac dealer can get you a key IF you can prove that the car is yours.. Warranty registration, Tag Registration and drivers license should do it.

They have the ability to order the key using the serial number of the car and then get it programmed for your car. (I recommend you get two while you are at it for obvious reasons)

It may take a couple of days but then you can drive your car again......
