My wife and I purchased a new 2008 Alpine White Limited Edition Cadillac XLR a few weeks ago. We live in Florida and have been looking for a white XLR since the beginning of production of these vehicles. To say "we love it" is mildly understated!!! The dealer, located in Venice, Fl. made our purchase something very special and although we live about one hundred miles away, we will return to them for any future Cadillac purchases. Our family(s) have been Cadillac owners for over four generations. Thank you General Motors and the Cadillac Division for such a fine automobile. We are happy to be members of the XLR Forum. How many of the XLR Forum members own a Alpine White Limited Edition XLR?

john21993 here in new Jersey. I bought a 2008 Alpine White XLR -Tan interior, about a month ago. We got a tremendous deal, as the dealer had the car for about 11 months on his lot. Traded in my 2006 Corvette. So far so good other than a few problems. Tomorrow we will take it in for a wndow adjustment and the rear 1/4 panels bottems sticking out on both sides of the car, behind the doors -- happy motoring --

I live in Sarasota and have a 2008 Alpine White XLR. There were 1542 XLRs built in 2008...259 were Alpine White. 198 were XLR and 61 were V models...total 259 Alpine White models.

Thank you for the replies to the question. I really appreciate the production numbers concerning the XLR Alpine White Special Edition. We could not pass up the deal on the XLR after the tremendous dealer discount either! Ours has a tan interior too. No problems with anything so far, we love to drive "lil Bit". (my wife came up with the name). We named the 2007 Escalade "Victoria". Go figure? Have fun and drive safe! I wonder if anyone else names their cars?
