Has anyone put on an after market exhaust such as a corsa?

I did the Lund catback and Lund intake. The tone is deeper than the Corsa's. Corsa is the most readily available.

Hey jetboy, that intake really looks good. What did it cost you for the catback & what size stainless steel did they use? I AGREE the LUND is much better than the corsa, suits the car better, they are going to do my headers & cat back, didn't know they had the intake, better than VOLANT.THANK YOU DWS

The catback and tip was about $100 more than the Corsa. To tell you the truth I think they use Billy Boat for the exhaust bits. His shop is just up the road. The tip was designed for them by Chip Foose and are fabricated locally. They will sell the tip separately. Everything with Lund is negotiable so if you don't like the price quote let them know.

Any drone from the Lund Cat Back.

A touch of drone if you get stuck at 45 mph but not at other speeds. If I get stuck in traffic I will downshift if it is noticable. After the first few weeks I never really noticed it. I lucked out the day I went in for the exhaust. They had a demo with the Corsa, a trade with a fabricated Borla and a trade with the Lund. I got to hear all three and preferred the Lund plus the look was unique. I initially only got the catback and then did the intake a few months later. Intake gave it even more bass.

So if you do a lot of driving at 45, is it that bad, do you still have that drone now, has it become any worse and how long have you had the lund system on.

Too b ehonest I had not noticed it for a long time so I took it out this weeek to see if I could recreate. It is gone. I had the intake installed a few months after the exhaust so that may have been what cured it or time cured it. They reflashed it when they put on the intake so I'm guessing the intake cured it. They have an updated map they are loading in next week. Should get another 24-26 hp on top of that the intake and exhaust and first remap got.

Here is the link to Lund http://www.lundcadillac.com/custom.cfm

I'm a bit of a technophobe so I don't have anything around the house to record it. You could email Lund and see if they have a soundbite.

Have you checked out D3 as well? I've been to their shop and was impressed. http://www.d3cadillac.com/vehicles-XLR-and-XLRV.php
