I checked all over the site to see about setting up a signature that will automatically be at the end of my posts. I can't seem to find anything... it this possible?

I searched the site as well and I THINK I have your answer:

Go to your User Profile mtrocket
Then Go to the Site Navigation Options on the left side of the screen
Go to User CP in the Forum Section and click on it.

In the upper section you will see a signature section. The instructions seem to be fairly clear but I haven't used them. So if you can't get it to work we'll try and figure it out together.

Regards

Jerry

The sidebar is

There is a section titled Contol Panel

In it is Edit Signature click on it and you should be able to make it work.

We'll get it sooner or later.

Click on Settings and Options and it should open up another level which includes the Signiture feature.

I am sorry you are having so much difficulty. I haven't used this feature so I am exploring and learning with you.

Usually I consider myself quite computer savvy, but this is driving me batty!!

When I click on settings and options under "Control Panel", it just highlights "settings and options". Nothing else opens up.
When I click on "edit options", there is an area under "thread display options" that allows me to "show signatures", but I still see nothing about editing signatures.

I can get into your CP and also edit your signature.

What is it that you want to add there??

Send me a Reply with it and I'll put it in for you.

The capability may be limited now if you aren't a Premium member....maybe.

DONE!!! Try it out and see if it works.

I am REAL SORRY for the inconvenience and the fact that I didn't think to do it for you before now--old age I guess.

Doesn't work... I have the "show your signature" box checked. I guess I'll just have to remember to type it in all the time. Bouncing between forums, and not having to type it on the other one, I usually have to go back and add it on this one. Oh well, guess it's not that big of a deal...
thanks for all your help!!
I had to edit to add signature...

This is driving me crazy too!!!

I know your new signature is in the right place but it just doesn't show on your messages.

I first thought you were trying it out at the same time I was adding it.

I made the mistake of putting it in my profile when I wrote you the first reply and it showed up at the bottom of my message......hummm.

I'll keep looking into it and have sent a message to the technical people to see what they can do.

Thanks for your patience.

Well I am happy I finally got it fixed too. I seems that you need to be a Senior Member now to have access to the signiture feature.

So now you are one.....

Rod, thanks again for your patience.
