I just bought 2006 xlr, 25k miles. rough idle 95% of time Check engine light came on p0171/p0174, car runs lean per real time scan 95% of the time. Smoke tested entire car, intake tubes, gas tank, new fuel cap, new plugs, new air meter. all done by Dealer, car still idles rough, check engine light has not come back on, but still idles rough. Any help?

Do you happen to know if your servicing dealer has a XLR Trained mechanic???

There should be a diagnositic machine specifically for the XLR there and troubleshooting and resolving the codes should be realitiely straightforward.

If not see if there is anothere dealer near you that can at least see what is going on.

they have had my car since xmas, now they are getting a check engine light come on every 30 miles no matter what they have done, gm sent a tech from michigan, a week still not resolved. They say p1101 air temp, and another code, cant remember still an issue.
Amazing, northstar engineer due inthis week to check all, unbelievable! They have put more miles on this car than I have.

Just watch its going to be something simple like a bad air fuel sensor or desiel fuel was put in the car...by mistake...not yours.
