I was interested in getting your feedback on 2 questions - do you have XM radio in your vehicles and what is your favorite station? I think XM is great, use the car as a weekend toy and love to toggle between the 70's, 80's and top tracks. Only owned the car now for 2 weeks but have used the weather and CNN channels. Just curious. Thanks!

I hate to admit it, but my current favorite is the X-rated Comedy channel (151). Also like the other comedy channels. If you listen to them alot, you will hear some repeats, but they are still funny.

With the top down, sometimes I wonder what other drivers think when I am smiling and laughing so hard.

If you don't like potty and sex humor and lots of the F*** word, then you you won't like the x-rated channel.

Oh, I love XM and am very glad I got it )antenna and all).

There is another thread here that addresses opinions on XM as a "poll" question.

Very eclectic tastes here.
Hank's Place - XM 13, for old-timey country, Hank Williams style
Watercolors XM 71 - contemporary jazz instrumentals
The sixties XM 6 - a little before my time, but in the genre of rock, its what I like best.
Pops XM 113 Popular Classical
Fox News Channel XM 121 - The best news channel when you want to hear both sides of issues.

I wish they had an "all acapella" station. What an incredible instrument the human voice is when in close multi-part harmony.

I would also like to see them add Radio Margaritaville http://radiomargaritaville.com/
(In case you never heard it.)

With a review like Eyedoc's below, I definitely will give XM 151 a listen! :thumbs

Yea, and that's the best part about it!!! Shawn Hannity for President.

BPM - Ch. 81

Frank's Place - Ch. 73

You guys aren't called the Left Coast for nothing. You've got to filter what you watch on TV through California air. :glol :glol :glol

Remember, we are a "Whole Other Country" over here in Texas.

Oil Patch, Billy Bob's, Joe T. Garcia's and ...... :yesnod Its just our West Coast Highway that doesn't compare! :cry Our WCH is I-10 through El Paso. The "coast" part? Its on the Rio Grande. But when I'm driving from Houston, and reach El Paso (850 miles), I'm half way to LA.

Forget it. No Politics from me.

Hannity! :thumbs

Good move!
I just can't see you putting your credibility on the line for Fox News :angel

I always describe my political views as being just to the right of Darth Vadar's...............

I believe my credibility turns on an ability to separate the wheat from the chaff. The justification for Fox being my "on-road new source" on the XM in our XLR:

NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN all put forth exactly the same point of view. Brokaw, Rather, Russert, Jennings, Rather, Couric, ad nauseum. All exactly the same perspective - exactly the same spin. They're so much the same, I get them mixed up. :eek Does anyone really believe they aren't biased? Or even remotely "mainstream"?

Fox News is very different. For every Hannity, there's a Colmes. For every Tony Snow, there's a Geraldo Rivera. I get both sides of every issue. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :flag

But the best thing about Fox is all those beautiful women! :thumbs Laurie Dhue, Donna Fiducia, E.D. Hill, Juliet Huddy, Lauren Green. What's not to like, amigo? They are audiovisual angels :angel

How's that for avoiding politics and staying "on-thread"? :cheers

And I thought you were going to thank me for the Jimmy Buffett free audio link. :confused
