I have a 2004 XLR. I am trying to purchase performance software. I notice that there seems to be a difference between year models. Does anyone know where I can go to find out the differences. The Dealerships don't seem to be very enthusiatic about helping me.

Welcome to the Forum!!!
There's lots of great people here so I kow you will enjoy your experience.
The answer your question form my perspective, the dealers are not intereting in doing anything that will compromise the warrany or the origional engine configuration.
So you are left with the after market. there are some posts in the Technical section that may provide you with some more information.
Here is one of the more popular vendors. You decide if they are what you want though.

I have a 2006 and changed tire size. Now the speedometer is not correct, I was looking to have my computer re flashed to correct for tire size. Everytime I told them it was a 2006 no one was able to help me. I believe that the difference is the type of ECM manufacturer. In 2006 Bosch made the ECM and there seems to be no aftermarket programmer availible. Can someone tell me if I am correct or am I getting a run around.
