All of a sudden my car started to misfire and smoke, running like it was dragging two cylinders.
Brought it in and the dealer couldn't replicate, even though he saw it happening when I got there. There were no codes in the computer. I took the car home 3 days later, running fine.
Three days after that it started again, this time with the engine light on, too. I brought it in and they diagnosed two bad injectors (a bogus diagnosis-how often do two injectors go bad at the same time?), and they replaced them. Now the car is still hung up as there in no combustion in the #1 and #2 cylinders.
Anybody have this kind of problem?

What year do you have? Is it a V?

they shoud be able to put their extensive diagnostics machine on the car and come up with the real problem fairly quickly. Have they done that???

In any event I wuld want the issue "Logged" in the customer service history for the car just in case.

It's an 05, not a V.

They put the machine on it, diagnosed TWO bad injectors, replaced those, and they still have the problem. There's no combustion in the two cylinders. I've got a BIG pile of repair records on this car.

This car is a lemon and I have started the complaint process with Caddy to try to get them to swap it out for a new one. I love the car-it's just a lemon and needs to get swapped.

You may have a cam phaser that is sticking, probably fully retarded.

They replaced two injectors, a coil, and a plug. Runs fine now.
